Return Policy — Anatomy & Physiology Dissection Kit

We want you to feel confident ordering your dissection kit. Please read this policy carefully and completely before purchasing, as it reflects the nature of the materials included.

Unopened, Sealed Kits

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the kit is unopened and all seals, packaging, and specimen materials are fully intact.
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the kit arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Opened Kits — Final Sale

Once a kit has been opened, the sale is considered final and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged, under any circumstances.
This includes kits where only the outer seal or a single specimen package has been broken.
This kit contains dissection specimens and related biological materials. For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept opened specimen materials back into inventory, and we cannot resell or reuse them once a seal is broken. This policy is not negotiable except on a case-by-case basis (see next section).
Please do not open your kit until you are ready to begin your coursework.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Shipments

If your kit arrives damaged in transit, is missing components, or you received the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@brainathlon.com, including photos of the kit and packaging as received from the carrier.
Verified issues are resolved with a full refund or replacement of the kit or its defective parts at our discretion. This is the only exception even if the kit has already been opened, since the issue is on our end or the carrier, not yours.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders may be canceled for a full refund only if the kit has not yet shipped. Once a kit ships, our standard return policy above applies.

Shipping Restrictions

This kit is available for shipment within the continental United States only. We are unable to process returns for orders shipped outside this region, as such orders should not have been placed.
